Narnia is a Melodic Power Metal band from Sweden and the brainchild of vocalist-Christian Liljegren & guitarist-CJ Grimmark. Over the years, Narnia has won over the hearts of many fans from around the world with their unwavering message of hope and their uncanny ability to create strong arrangements accompanied by solid production. Now with over 26 records in their discography including compilation albums, 2026 marks Narnia's 30th anniversary. Yes, the band has been Rockin' for 3 decades and is still not showing signs of stopping. 

       In 2026 Narnia released their 10th studio full-length album simply titled 'X' on Narnia songs. "X" follows up to the band's 2023 album 'Ghost Town'. With this latest release, this Swedish outfit has once again brought the listener a solid offering filled with high voltage levels of energy, hooks, and a few surprises along the way. With the release of 'X' the band is poised and ready for the arena! 
       'X' was both Produced & mixed by CJ Grimmark. The album was Recorded at Nordic Sound Lab and was then Mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at Studio Bohus in Kungälv, Sweden. The album's Cover art was done by Jonatan Samuelsson.

       With this 2026 release, Christian Liljegren garners some additional help with vocals from within the pack. The help came by way of longtime guitarist-CJ Grimmark and bassist-Jonatan “Jono” Samuelsson. CJ Grimmark handles lead vox on tracks-5 & 10 and Jonatan Samuelsson, who has now been with the band on a number of projects, takes front and center on tracks-6 & 7. I believe the energy that the additional vocals bring to the album, help set this record apart from others. When listening to music, some of the best bands are those that have singers who can change up their vocal styles, or in this case, the use of additional vocalists, giving the listener more diversity to unpack & enjoy. 

 Guitarist-CJ Grimmark really cuts loose on this one and delivers up some memorial guitar solos. On track-10 "The Man from Nazareth", Grimmark throws us a curveball with some Doomy guitar work!
