Michael Sweet is known for his work as lead vocalist for the world renown Metal band Stryper. Michael was co-founder along with his brother-Robert Sweet back in 1983. However, in the 1990's Michael began releasing solo projects and now has quite a few full-length albums to show for it. In 1994 he released his self-titled debut album and in 1995 he followed-up with the release of his sophomore album titled 'Real'. Then in 2000 he released two-different albums with one titled 'Truth', and the other titled Unstryped. In 2006 Michael released his 5th studio album titled 'Him' and in 2007 he released his 6th solo album titled 'Touched'. After the release of 'Touched', 7-years would go by before Michael released his 7th full-length album in 2014 titled 'I'm Not Your Suicide'. Then in 2016 Michael released 'One Sided War' and in 2019 he went on to release the highly acclaimed album 'Ten'. In 2021 Michael showed no signs of stopping with the release of 'Reborn Again'.  
​       After the release of 'Reborn Again' Michael immediately returned to the studios to continue work on another album that he had already been working on prior to his 2021 record.

       In 2026 Michael Sweet released his full-length studio album titled 'The Master Plan' on Frontiers Music.       
'The Master Plan' was originally written and recorded during the ongoing Covid-19 period & finished in late 2020. However, Michael was not completely satisfied with the original recordings and returned to the studios to tweak & remix his arrangements on each track. ​The release of 'The Master Plan' was a return to Michael's musical roots of bands that he listened to while growing up back in the 60's, 70's & 80's. A few of the bands he was listening to at the time were the Bee Gees, Al Green, Chuck Berry, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bad Company, and the Eagles. Michael went on to say that this release was meant to inspire, to encourage, present hope, and to help one's faith deepen & grow. 
       Although this is a Michael Sweet project, this one doesn't sound anything like what we have grown to expect from the Stryper vocalist. The Master Plan is more of a lighter Rock project that is guaranteed to have you hitting the repeat button over and over again!

Lyrics are unabashedly Christ centered and really pull at one's heart strings.
